COVID-19 Up-Date

This pandemic has changed the way we look at early childhood education and our daily practices and procedures in a group setting. Changes in Procedures and Practices have been developed to support the health and safety of your children, your families as well as our staff and families and to do all we can to remain open for families. The changes are meant to decrease the risk of contracting Coronavirus and they are based on thorough research and guidance being recommended by experts such as the CDC.

We continue to act with vigilance in promoting overall preventative health hygiene to minimize the spread of infectious diseases within our schools, including:

1.  thorough handwashing and covering up coughs/sneezes.
2. daily “wellness” checks of students—promptly sending students          home if they show signs of illness.
3. ensuring all faculty, staff and students feeling ill stay home until they recover.
4. repeated cleaning of “high-touch” surfaces throughout the   school day.
5. reassuring children as questions and concerns regarding the virus come up.
